The diving pool on the Transformer site in Zwevegem, Belgium, is finished. The official opening for invited guests took place on December 19th, 2014. The opening to the public is planed for March 2015.

Visitors will be able to monitor the activities of the divers. A large rectangular aquarium window highlights the entrance of the building. Four porthole type windows are fitted in the cafeteria. Supplier and Installer of the Underwater Windows: Hydrosight.

The original steel tank was preserved

The tank is exceptional, not only because of the fact that the tank comes through reuse of industrial heritage, but also by its dimensions: The pool itself has a diameter of 20 meters and a depth of 15 meters. With a capacity of 4.7 million liters of water the diving pool is not the deepest, but the largest in Belgium.

In the outer shell surrounding the swimming pool there are changing rooms, showers and a cafeteria. On the top floor, where divers enter the water, a glass roof spans the building.
