Pool Windows for Concrete Tanks

This page is about the installation service for pool windows / underwater windows by Hydrosight. If you are new to this web page you might first want to read about Hydrosight premanufactured underwater windows that can be installed by your local builder.

Submerged windows are a nice feature for pools, tanks and aquaria alike. Underwater windows of type Hydroview™ offer a lot of advantages. They are designed for easy installation by your local swimming pool builder. Hydroview™ are available at competitive prices for their performance. The drawback is that they are limited by size and need to be supported from 4 sides.

Custom Pool Windows on the other hand are not limited by these restraints. Due to the amount of water in large tanks Custom Pool Windows are usually fully integrated in the building. The window blocks are directly sealed into concrete openings. These windows, that you can observe in public aquaria, have become available for private use.

Their features are:

  • Custom Pool Windows can be supported on three sides only. This type is refered to as an "open top window". See pictures on the left for some examples.
  • Window dimenstions of up to 6m by 3m size are possible.
  • The window might have round or different shaped openings
  • The window blocks can be curved.
Hydrosight offers full service contracts for design, supply and installation. Custom Pool Windows need a more in-detail look into the conditions on site. Due to the amount of work needed for preparatory work and consulting we might ask you for feasibility study (fee required) prior finalizing offer.

Make sure to check our page on installation of aquaria windows , which have a lot in common with swimming pools.
