How to installMost builders, that are installing Hydrosight underwater windows are first time users. Using our installation kit including detailed instructions it is easy and secure to mount your first underwater window. However it is important to stick to the guidlines and work with low tollerances. Unlike a normal window an underwater window has to withstand a large water pressure. You will therefore pay particular attention to installing the window in a waterproof manner. There are several possiblities how to seal the window into the pool wall, depending mostly on the pool finish, that will be used. Make sure you include the type of pool finish in your inquiry. The most common method we use implys a concrete pool or a tiled pool.
Tiled pools can be sealed with an adhesive flange.
The tiler will embed a sealing tape into the waterproofing layer.
